BestHorrorScenes.com: Filters

Filters for BestHorrorScenes.com.

Previously the site was just a long page with a bunch of scenes sorted by post date in descending order. Now that there are 60+ scenes posted, I wanted to add a simple way to filter the content using a few different data points (genre, decade, score, etc.). Instead of a traditional filter bar with a bunch of select menus and text inputs, I display a human-readable sentence with interactive parts (e.g. “Currently viewing folk horror sorted by post date in descending order.”). Clicking on of the interactive parts reveals a full-page list of options to choose from, with counts telling the visitor how many scenes are logged in that category.
